At Prodigies Athlete Camp, you’ll train directly under the guidance of 2x Olympian Wes Kitts , 7x CrossFit Games athlete Margaux Alvarez, two of the most accomplished coaches in the sport. They’ll share the techniques, mindset, and training secrets that have taken them to the top. You’ll also dive deep into performance recovery and lifestyle habits in a masterclass on sleep and nutrition led by PhD Dr. Chen, equipping you with tools to fuel your body and mind for peak performance.

Step into the mindset of a competitor with real comp-style workouts, pacing drills, and strategy sessions that mimic the pressure and excitement of game day. Then put your skills to the test in the "Blue Racer" HYROX-style obstacle course — a full-throttle race across The PIT property designed to challenge your endurance, speed, and grit. Between sessions, you’ll have full access to The PIT’s world-class amenities — from a state-of-the-art CrossFit gym and hot yoga studio to lakefront cabin accommodations with meals, plus miles of scenic biking & hiking trails.

Meet the Camp Coaches

Wes Kitts

Wes Kitts is a 2-time Olympian and elite strength and conditioning coach with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and a minor in Health from Austin Peay State University. A lifelong multi-sport athlete and former Division I football player, Wes has represented Team USA in both the Tokyo and Rio Olympic Games. He now shares his expertise in athletic performance and weightlifting as the owner of Be Somebody Gym in Knoxville, Tennessee, developing athletes to compete and perform at the highest levels.

Margaux Alvarez

Margaux Alvarez is a 7-time CrossFit Games athlete and accomplished movement and mindset coach. She’s competed at the highest levels, including the Tactical Games, NBC’s Titan Games, and American Ninja Warrior. With expertise in mobility, functional training, and mental resilience, Margaux empowers athletes to unlock their full potential—both in sport and in life.

Dr. Chen Du

Dr. Chen holds a B.S. in Dietetics from Iowa State University, an M.P.H. from Baylor University, and a Ph.D. in Human Nutrition from Michigan State University. Her research focuses on the intersection of sleep, nutrition, and health outcomes, and she has contributed to the development and validation of a cognitive behavioral therapy–based sleep program.

Brock Yost

Owner of The Pit Fitness Ranch and Prodigies International Training. He serves as the Director of Teenage CrossFit Games and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Three Rivers High School. With 20+ years of coaching experience, Brock is committed to building athletes’ skills, discipline, and character—both in competition and in life.

Question 1: What is the age range for this camp?

The camp is designed for athletes aged 14-23 years old. High school and college students are the best campers for this!

Question 2: Do I need prior fitness or sports experience to attend?

No—our programming accommodates beginners through advanced athletes. Coaches adjust workouts based on each participant’s abilities.

Question 3: Where exactly is the camp located?

This year's camp is located at the Pit Fitness Ranch (14791 Hoffman Rd, Three Rivers MI), and Camp Blue Canoe (13403 Spence Rd, Three Rivers MI). Workshops, workouts, and events will be at the Pit Fitness Ranch, and meals and lodging will be at Camp Blue Canoe.

Question 4: Are there any scholarships or financial assistance available?

Yes, we believe this camp is so transformative, that we want to make it accessible to anyone, even if they cannot financially cover the cost. Please reach out to [email protected] to learn more about our scholarship opportunities.

Question 5: What type of training will we do?

CrossFit, Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Gymnastics, Mobility, Yoga, Running, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Hyrox Style Race.

Question 6: Is Lodging and Meals included in the cost?

Yes, this is an all inclusive camp. Meals, snacks, and lodging are included. We do advise campers bring their own snacks or money to buy some along the way.

Question 7: How long is the camp?

Camp starts Thursday night, with a check in and welcome dinner. Activities start Friday morning, and wrap up Sunday afternoon.
